Placing An Order & Delivery Information

All payments are processed by Paypal and is taken immediately after an order is placed.

Please make sure that the postal address on your Paypal account is correct before submitting your order as we cannot be held responsible for items going missing due to incorrect customer details.


UK Orders

UK orders are usually dispatched within 24-48 hours via Royal Mail's 1st class recorded delivery service and a tracking number is provided. Once an order has been sent it usually takes 1-3 days for UK addresses, but please allow 7 working days in total. Please Note: Delivery to remote areas may take a little longer.

Once Royal Mail has confirmed an order has been delivered, using their track & trace service, we no longer hold responsibility for the delivery of your item(s). If you choose to have your order delivered to a work address then once it enters your internal mail system, responsibility for its security/delivery passes to yourself, the buyer.

If an order is returned to us as a result of an incorrect address or due to non-collection from your local Royal Mail depot we will contact you and arrange a redelivery. This may result in an additional postage charge.


International Orders

All international orders are sent via either AirSure or International Signed For Air Mail. International Signed For will require a signature upon arrival.

Once we have confirmation of delivery, we no longer hold responsibility for the delivery of your item(s). Should you choose to have your order delivered to a work address then please be aware that once it enters your internal mail system, responsibility for its security/delivery passes to yourself, the buyer.

Please be aware that delivery times will vary depending upon the country the order is going to and the time of year. An order is not considered lost until 1 month has passed.

**N.B. In some cases, custom charges may be applied to non-EU International orders. This charge is not applied by Dolly Up Ginger and is issued by overseas custom officials. In the event that a customs charge is issued, you will be informed by your postal service. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to pay this fee. Please do not ask us to state that the item is worth less than it is on the Customs Declaration Form as this is illegal.


Returns Policy

We hope you’ve fallen in love with your purchase but if for any reason you are unhappy with your order, or simply changed your mind, please contact us immediately.

We will offer a refund provided the item(s) is returned to us in an unused condition and in its original packaging within 7 days of the date of delivery. Please email us at [email protected] to arrange a refund, as we are unable to accept returned packages without prior confirmation.

In the event of a return or exchange, we regret that the return P&P is at your, the customer’s, expense. Please ensure sufficient postage is paid for your return, as we are unable to accept packages that do not carry the correct postage. We recommend when returning an item, to send it via Recorded Delivery or use a signed for service as we cannot issue a refund or exchange in the event of loss or damage in transit.

Refunds will be processed within 3 working days of receiving the item(s) and via the original payment method used to purchase the order. It is only upon receipt of the returned goods that a refund shall take place.

Please note that for hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned unless they are faulty.


If you had your eye on an item that is now out of stock online and wanted to place an order, don't panic! We will do our best to restock it. Contact Dolly Up Ginger and let us know if you wish to purchase something that has sold out and we shall email you once stock has been replenished.

Since we are a small independent store and each item is handmade, we cannot guarantee each product will be back in store. If this is so, we shall inform you of an alternative, similar to that of the original.

All prices are as stated on our website, although we reserve the right at any time to revise the price of goods without notice.

Discount Codes & Special Offers

Special discount codes given to you by Dolly Up Ginger can only be used once & only for the month in which they are issued. Please note, this excludes general codes provided to the public for special offers such as; flash sales, BOGOFs and special discount days etc. In this situation, the customer can use each code as many times as they wish up until the offer end date.
